The only thing is it has to be targeted to the audience. So no, you wouldn't pay to advertise a children's movie on a porn site. Just like you wouldn't pay to put an ad for it in Maxim magazine.
But pretty much any adult comedy or action movie or sci-fi movie that isn't primarily for children could definitely benefit by having their trailer on porn sites.
It's all about effective targeting and marketing.
Of course, they could just all say "no way" like they always have. Or this could be the first baby steps towards something new.
No reason at all for this weeks "Dinner For Schmucks" or "The Other Guys" not to be running their trailers on porn sites too. Or that stupid new "Pirahnna" remake.
Millions of eyeballs waiting for them.

Thanks's for basically spitting back the fucking point I was making.
Where did I ever say that it would only work for Porn related movies? The movie I mentioned has nothing to do with porn. It's something that could be easily marketed like "Middle Men" is being right now.
It's got sex, drugs, violence, big stars and the restricted red band trailer. Perfect for this type of marketing.
