Would people be more animated about it if it said:
"supporters of womens rights" ?
how about
"supporters of rights" ?
It's about simple human rights, for individual citizens. The article also stubs it's toe talking about gay couples wanting to be entitled to the same rights as heterosexual couples. This is fundamentally flawed speech since people dont attain rights by marriage. They attain them by being born. They want to have nothing but the SAME rights as anyone else. Period. Makes it pretty gd simple doesn't it?
