I'll chalk this up to you not hanging out with any gay people...I'm friends with some very outspoken gay rights advocates and that is exactly what many of them are doing...wanting the rights...the reason they have to use that title is there is not other title available for that...
I love how a lot of right wingers (not you specifically, but many) want the government out of their lives, but want it in the lives of gay people....they complain about gays ramming their views down there throats, but why is it ok for heteros to ram their lifestyle down the throats of gays? For the record, I don't care if you answer this question or not, it's not directed right at you, but rather a rhetorical question...
