No, you weren't joking. You've said the exact same thing in other threads. Just more regurgitation of talking points from ignorant people you watch on TV or read on blogs. Fox and Rush types are destroying the Republican party. Whatever happened to the intellectual conservatives? The party has changed for the worse. Some of these talking heads want you to actually cheer for our leaders to screw up and for our country to fail. Like it's some Red vs Blue football game and no one cares about the country anymore, just that their team wins the big game or gets control of the ball again. It's an idiocracy.
