Thats a snook, that one was 26.5 inches, 7 pounds. Very regulated fish, it has to be a min of 26 inches to keep and no more than 34 inches, and the snook season closes June and re-opens in Sept.
I go hunting for redfish, snook, pompano, flounder and snapper.
I gave up women last year and took up fishing, and FM got me a little boat that I can manage myself, so its wonderful!
YOu freshwater fishing for bass? I love the sport :-)

Hey Lee, actually they changed the season. May is closed as well. Which is about the best month to catch them at the beach. That bobber that I was telling about is the Cajun Thunder Equalizer. I highly recommend it. It makes it much easier to hook them. I'm going to play golf and fish this weekend. I'm sure I'll toss quite a few cold ones back as well.
