With the whole polish presidential plane crashing (not that I even liked the guy, he made poland even more of a laughing stock then it already was), I am even more scared then I already was.
Why you ask?
Since I was young, every time I got on a plane I was convinced I was going to die. However, If i were to get on that presidential plane, the thought of me dieing on that wouldn't have even crossed my mind.
I live pretty close to the german and czech borders in the bottom left corner of poland, and I have highway the entire way to the border. It's only maybe a 6-7 hour drive including stops, and if you've ever been to Poland and seen our fabulous roads, you can see how i'd be used to driving that long to get anywhere. Being able to go on the german autobahns is a real treat for us...
Statistically, I'm safer on the plane, but my car is comfortable, diesel, and I like being in control.
