CZ isn't that great highways either though from what I remember. I was returning from livigno in italy snowboarding, was super tired and made a wrong turn in Vienna somewhere, and somehow ended up in CZ instead of Slovakia. I managed to get about 50km into the country before I even realized when I saw a sign that said 'Brno'. The highway most of the way was just slabs of concrete laying beside each other, spent a good bit of time listening to 'duDUN...duDUN..duDUN...duDUN' under the car
There was also a ton of army trucks on the highway the entire way, hundreds of them. I was starting to wonder if I should phone the embassy to let them know CZ was invading Poland
