Still, you missed my point entirely. The point is that the government is as fucking clueless as everyone else. They tried to do the right thing by painting him in a positive light. I never met Tillman personally, but I know quite a few people that did. Trust me, I have a pretty good idea what happened to him.
That said, I don't think anyone outside of his company knows what really happened, and I don't think anyone ever should. In my opinion, unless you were there, you don't deserve to know. If the company wants to keep it in house, that's their business. It's easy to point fingers when you're a million miles away.
