that being said everything happened under bp's watch and it was a bp well and thus a bp disaster. you could break down the parts and literally find hundreds of companies involved but one company, bp, oversaw it all.

Like i said, he is only an actor. If he ever gets voted into a postion of power then its only because he is famous. He is a layman and his opinion is as worthwhile as yours or mine, no more than that.

hardly. you have an extreme disconnect to people who actually are doing things in the name of social justice. pitt has done a hell of alot for people in louisiana, spending millions in his own money for the cause.
people there see him "putting his money where is mouth is" and he is highly regarded for doing so.
