try both, drive them - and not only on straight roads but take them to the track. once you "feel" both cars you will know why the BMW costs $30,000 more. the Mustang is surely not a bad car, but for my taste it looks too brutal. and i can't stand the interior of american cars in general, always full of cheap plastic. even if it might look better now on some cars, it still feels wrong. sit in a BMW or especially Audi and you will see yourself.
