There has to be more to the story, if it was that easy then it would be happening a lot more often. Just doesn't make sense. Or am I getting old and don't believe that anything can happen that easy like how I use to think 10+ years ago.

luck and being in the right place at the right time have 100% to do with it, it is the same with any viral meme as well, look at Boxxy, all she did was make a couple simple videos on youtube and 4chan got hold of it and next thing you know a trillion views, it looks as easy as that but there are certain conditions that you can never duplicate, even though it was ridiculously simple for Boxxy to make those videos
so yeah, it is "that easy" but also completely impossible too..... like winning the lottery "you mean all he did was go to the corner store and bought a $1 ticket?? seems really easy, why can't I do that?"
