It's not the cocksucking priests that bother people... it's the systematic decisions by the Church to hide them from prosecution and to protect them from accountability. As for violence... you must have missed the crusades in your history classes, or must be overlooking the decision by the Church to turn a blind eye during the Holocaust. Religion exists to control people. That is true of every religion. If you want no religious buildings in Manhattan that's fine with me... if you want some but not others, you need to rethink the logic of that.
