Yes racism is a problem. It's been a problem for eons and will continue to be for eons. Having the first black president here was wonderful to combat racism against blacks for at least a brief period of time, but when the first black president who campaigned as Superman is not improving anyone's situation yet (I am giving him SOME benefit of the doubt but I've only seen things absolutely plummet for everyone around me), all of a sudden the racism issue hasn't really improved at all, and I don't think there can really be anything that can be done aside from what he himself is doing to really affect things one way or another. Whether he likes it or not, it all rests on his shoulders because of the position he's attained.
So that said, I go back to my last comment in that who cares about a town with 2k people in it with it comes to major social issues? That's like looking at some of the fucking silly stupid laws some of these places have and making a big deal out of them.
