The problem with this fact is that it isn't a fact at all. Your statement was: "and it was Obama that signed the letter asking to take Rush Limbaugh of off the air."

Please show me where in that letter it says anything about taking Limbaugh off the air.

It does say, "Then, Reid did a rather unusual thing. He wrote a letter of complaint on Senate stationery, signed by 40 other Democratic senators including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, to Mark Mays, the chairman of Clear Channel, one of Limbaugh's syndication partners, urging him to talk with Limbaugh about the remark and condemn it."

There is a big difference between asking someone to condemn a remark someone else has made and asking someone to take them off the air.
