Someone needs to get through to people wanting to burn the Qu'ran:

1. They're doing exactly as Hitler's regime was doing. So fuck them on that point alone.

2. While terrorism is bad, look at how many Muslims exist (1.5+ billion) compared to how many terrorist acts they've taken out and it's obvious that only a tiny percent of them are extremists.

3. Ironically Muslims as a whole probably stay much truer to the Qu'ran than Christians do to their Bible. A significant percentage of Christians should take heed of that and actually read their fucking Bible and pay attention to the messages it gives on how to live life, and there probably wouldn't be all this hatred towards Muslims because they'd know God would fuck them up the ass and send them to hell anyways. :P

4. Just going to wager a guess on this, but I would think the US et al have killed more innocent Muslims in Iraq/Afghanistan/Pakistan in the past decade than the amount of innocent people Muslims have killed in the US et al over that same period, including 9/11. The only difference is the US has obviously killed far more militant Muslims as well...so does that make us better for it? I don't think so.

5. The ONLY thing that could come of burning the Qu'ran is pissing off terrorists and having them kill even more innocent people, including those idiots doing the burning, their families/friends/neighbors/etc. Who the fuck would want to back such people up? There's absolutely nothing POSITIVE that could come from making that "statement". If Christian God exists, he/she/it is in a facepalm right now.
