What you are seeing in the photo is a form of torture. You deprive the prisoner of all their senses. It makes them hallucinate and destroys their mental capacity. It also can cause insanity. I am sure these hikers in Iran are getting far better treatment.

Yes, some of the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay are bad guys, but a significant percentage are absolutely innocent and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time...
