Actually the issue reflects less on his free speach rights, and more on worldwide public perception. The pastor is projecting that he is speaking on behalf of all Americans. The reason people are opposed to him buring the Quran is because they know that terrorists will think just like you do: the actions of one represent the actions of all. As the elected representative for the people of America (whether you like it or not), Obama must make it clear to the world that while the pastor has the right in this country to burn the Qurans, the pastor is not speaking for the U.S. as a whole.
