It "seems" like a big percentage because they just happen to be THE biggest religion with THE most followers on the planet. It doesn't help that a lot of then were pushed into extremism by the West who bombed the living (literally) hell out of their parents or brothers or mothers and sisters. Former "normal" Muslims with no ties to terrorism are easily recruited when they lose the innocent people they love.
If that pastor does burn the Quran it would be interesting. Interesting because I wonder what would happen if Al Qaeda put a $10 million hit out on him. Would he need protection from Americans? Patriotism would fly out the window in favour of the greenback!
