I think Dr Phil may be confusing ego with confidence. The guy has obviously had a lot of success with women, at least a large % of the ones he tries to pick up, so whatever he's doing is working. And according to him he's not spending much on them either. Bonus for him.
Ladies, don't like this guy's brand of game? Then instead of laughing and scoffing from the audience why not just quit falling for it?
