http://ftc.gov and see they are going after internet based businesses on a weekly basis, and this only constitutes civil lawsuits.
If these ftc civil lawsuits put you at risk criminally then it is only a matter of time that in addition to the ftc civil lawsuit you will have criminal charges filed against you.

Look at the lawsuit filed against this dialer company, it could have been filed against any dialer service in the US. For some reason they chose alyon technologies.
