johnsteele is mistaken. As an attorney myself, I can tell you that this suit will not last and is a total waste of money and bankroll for Mr. Steele.
1) Steve is gay
2) Lightspeed is gay
3) Grooby is gay.
4) Everyone who agreed is gay.
Just kidding. Here's my real reasons as to why Lightspeed and their gang will fail miserably.
1) Lawsuit against piraters by porn producer is not new. It has been attempted outside of USA, and failed miserably so far.
2) Imagine the backslash and potential counter suit that is liable for Lightspeed once the media spreads the word, Evil porn producers are suing innocent teenagers. This would permanently shut the door for any future proceedings or attempts by other porn producers.
3) The court and on federal level do not care about you stupid porn peddlers (in their eyes you are not socially respected but shady sleaze bags), there is very little jury empathy for porn producers. You have very little support from public. People who you will be suing however will potentially have large support from public from the "Evil" porn producers.
Result: Lawyers and court makes bank off clueless porn producers trying to keep their failing business due to crappy content and lack of understand of free market mechanisms. Angry individuals sued file counter suit, and takes rest of Steve's sick and unethical money from porn business. Bankruptcy and gay orgy ensues. Steve cries in his little bed wearing his schoolgirl outfit once worn by Twannee Stone.
