They sued 123video for 300.000 euro. They won't get that, that will be to much. But the provider had to give the information about the uploaders. I can't find information what they are doing now. Mininova, a bittorent linking site, is forbidden in Holland for linking to illegal torrents,
http://www.anti-piracy.nl sued them. Now they are only linking to legal material. that viptorrents.nl can be stopped if yo sue them Robbie.
There was a photographer in Holland who made a picture of Johan Cruijf holding the Europa Cup 30 years ago. He got 400 guilders for that selling it to a newspaper. Now he has a lawyer who goes after people that put that picture on their site. He can make hundreds of thousands euro's sueing everyone. I know, i had to pay 400 euro's for 1 picture. Going to court is much more expensive than paying.
