The real problem is most of the people on the internet in general simply cannot compete in the year 2010.

Alot of people want the "old timers" back. But they left for obvious reasons. They cannot hack it in the year 2010 and so they cut their losses and closed up shop.

A businessman is a businessman very few times will a businessman walk away from a project for no reason. 99% of the time it is because it is not profitable.

and 99% of webmasters these days do not know how to make it so they are leaving.

It takes real skill now. Not just toss up a site, watch sales come in and have beers with your buddies. People are realizing this, and at the same time realizing how far behind and how much time they wasted with things that "could have been".

These are the same guys who dont like the new people making money telling them how it is. Times have changed. Get the move on.
