You guys and your seasonal justification for sales increases kill me

yeap, it never fails, someone has a good week (or bad) and they think they need to try to justify it with some bullshit, like kids were out of school, kids went back to school, it was hot, it was cold, it was summer, it was winter, it was ground hog day.
in 10+ years doing this I have NEVER seen a trend. I might have a bad June this year, but a great one next year. I might have a bad christmas day one year, be avg the next and kick ass the one after. No pattern what so ever. The only thing that affects my sales is me, and how much and well I work. on sept fucking 11, 2001 I had an average day. How do you explain that, people stuck in airports, everyone glued to the tv, the country in termoil I ripped off at least 50 credit card joins that day which was average at the time.
now visa stepping in and reducing 1/2 the people in the country;s credit limits down to what they fucking owe.... that is a kick in the nuts over night and hurts bad.
