This car makes me proud to be Aussie. American cars have all been very average in the handling department (Eg lots of Front wheel drive or leaf springs/solid rear axles or too soft suspension) until this one, it rides and handles because it is based on an australian developed platform and designed in Australia.
The Pontiac G8 (now not sold due to GM closing Pontiac) was built on the same platform, and actually built here in AU. Shame GM decided to sell the G8 as a Pontiac not a Chevy, otherwise you'd still be able to buy it.
We still have a chance at getting more Aussie made cars on US roads because it looks like the Australian Chev Caprice Cop car is gonna get lots of orders. (also the same platform as the '10 Camaro albeit long wheelbase)

Chevy PPV / Australian Holden Statesman

Pontiac G8 / Australian Holden Commodore.
