That's true. Many have started since then and a few did quite well. I do think it's a lot harder now though. I remember when you could throw up an AVS site and make $500-$1000 a week from it without doing any other promotion. Just making the site and getting accepted was all that was needed.
Those days are of course long gone. You can still find lucrative opportunities in 2010 but generally they require more original thinking and they are fewer and far between.
