rates vary so much
most media is sold on CPM or dCPM
MSNBC's run of site was $7 per 1000 last year $14-15 in categories when I looked into it about Sept 2009
The more targeting you do the more you'll pay


depending on where and how you buy media they're gonna want upfront commitments $10k, many places have $25k minimums. And will work with insertion orders where you'll have to think hard about the terms because once you sign and say forget an out clause they'll burn your budget completely unless you spcify otherwise
