I think a lot of it is that in the past there wasn't much in the way of a free option. So even if you were on a budget if you wanted porn you had to pay. Now if you are watching your money there is plenty of free porn to check out. Some of these people may start paying again for the really good stuff or the niche stuff once things get better, but now there is a lot of free options and those who used to skip them if for no other reason convenience are now using them.
