I don't see the recession in this area.
However.. my new roommate who works in the film industry is officially unemployed as far as the .gov goes.
He's also filming a movie for the next 3 months in Toronto starting next Monday.
I know quite a few other people here who are doing cash under the table type gigs as well. That guaranteed decent pay check from the US .gov is pretty awesome I hear.
