But the TeaBaggers are picking them off too. Those Baggers aren't gonna be easy to control like Bush did with the Evangelical Christians. The right wingers are already hinting it may not be a sure thing that Boner will be Speaker when they win.
The Democrats have had control of the House as you say but the Senate was never fully in their hands, ie 60. When they tried to use reconciliation like the GOP did to pass Bush's tax cut the wingers in the Senate yelled bloody murder.
