"Global warming" has a word "global" in it. Global means everywhere. I.e. over all the surface, including oceans. Which means increased vaporization => humid warm climate all over the globe. Like in a rainforest.

Instead you have spikes of heat and cold extremums here and there. Local environment screw ups can be a reason for that. Chop a big forest nearby, dry a big bog and you will have much more noticeable local weather changes than from increased solar activity or global air pollution.
