Actually, I spent the first night of the Barcelona summit in actual Barcelona because there wasn't a hotel room at the resort and I had never been to the city. So, with really just an afternoon to spend there I decided to take my camera around and see what I could in that short amount of time. Just my luck, there was an insane thunder storm so I got soaked doing it but it was still great.

So, some pics of my 10 hours in actual Barcelona ...

I started off with just the buildings and the art work around the city. I have a friend that is an artist that moved from the UK to Barcelona and now I can see why.

Football counts as art right?

Then because of all that rain, I decided to find somewhere indoors and ended up at a giant food market across from my hotel. Which, was great for getting a feel for the pulse of the city.
