Now if he were 17 years old, and not committed suicide, the jail terms would be much higher.
Possessing or distributing videos of sexual activities (that you did not provoke but just record) of an adolecent 17y minor is much more heinous, much more punishable, then contributing to the suicide death of an 18 year old.
I am in no way advocating any such distribution, I am just pointing out how the laws seem to be a little overboard: how the death of an 18 year old carries a lower penalty then exposing nude video of a 17 year old.
