We've only had residential air conditioning or temp control for the last 60-70 years. I'm guessing before that people just had to deal with whatever the temp was outside. Hair, or at least certain hair, will probably be phased out eventually because of always being in a room temp and also because of shaving or pulling hair out.
I also hear our pinky toes will disappear because they're of no use but who knows.
