This has been in the works for a long time... There are some insane threads on FlyerTalk about it.
I'm pretty upset, I've never had a good United experience and have been a happy Continental frequent flyer for several years. The good thing is, for now the merger is just on the corporate level, and operations will stay seperate for a while... This month they'll start doing reciprocal benefits for elite flyers which is cool.
