And what did all the companies that got the money do with the stimulus money??? They didn't lend it like they were supposed to.. They didn't hire more people like they were supposed to... Yes, the government was stupid for not mandating what could be done with it but regardless, the companies that got it failed just as much which is to be expected given their concern is their bottom line, not people.
Didn't the government under Bush, the fed etc. dump a ton of money into the system as well? That money didn't seem to do anything either.. Bottom line, doesn't matter who's in charge, the hole is so deep that it's going to take a long time to get out of it and it's the companies that have to do it..
