It is without a doubt the best way to find bugs and unexpected issues before the product goes live and I'm happy to see NATs going all out on their beta test. It will only make it a better, strong product for the rest of us.

Did you have to pay the high setup fee and monthly fees while you were beta testing? You absolutely have not.
Open/public beta and forcing someone to beta test software on a live system are not one in the same; especially when we were never informed that we were actually beta testing, and the software wasn't actually release ready/stable...
