Unless Paypal alters its "Acceptable Use" policy, which can be found here:
https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?&...se_full&bn_r=o
from which I quote:
"relate to sales of (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (e) ITEMS THAT ARE CONSIDERED OBSCENE (Caps mine), (f) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (g) CERTAIN SEXUALLY ORIENTED MATERIALS OR SERVICES (Again, caps mine), or (h) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (i) ,certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law."
...you run a very high risk of having your funds either returned to the sender or having your funds locked up for 180 days, at which point Paypal must by law make those funds available to you.
Paypal sucks and using its service for anything connected with adult is tantamount to financial disaster. The lack of specific definition of "obscene" and "sexually oriented materials or services" says it all. Paypal can and will do whatever it wants and will tell you AFTER it has done it. You will be told when you log into your Paypal account and find that your funds have been refunded or blocked.
I have personally had over $10K locked by Paypal simply because it did not understand the nature of the transaction, which transaction was legal, above board and in compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy. Full explanations and documentation meant nothing to Paypal and it did indeed take 180 days to get my money.
In short, if you use Paypal for adult, you could well be kissing your hard-earned money goodbye or have to wait 180 days to get it.
