ACH is USA only, wire transfers are global ( Transferencia Interbancaria desde el exterior ) He has to know about wire transfers!. At least here, you usually have to talk to the bank´s foreign commerce ( Comercio Exterior ) to sort these type of things out, typically small branches have no clue, you have to contact your bank´s headquarters offices for that.
