It does not say
OKPAY on it like I thought it would. It says UWC Financial Services which is the UK based company that handles all the money.
It looks like this...
I am liking their service more and more every day.
I can receive, send and store money in USD, EUR, GBP, CHF or RUB and exchange between the different currencies anytime I want.
I have setup wallets inside my account for each company I pay people from with unique contacts details for each (support email, phone, company name, etc.).
I can receive wires from people and can send wires out to myself or to others for just $15. Wire payments arrive like clockwork in 1 to 2 business days.
The peer 2 peer transfer fees are very low. Want to send someone $5? It costs $0.02. Sending $60 costs $0.30. $500 is a $2.50. $10,000 costs $2.99 (max fee). Money arrives instantly when it is sent.
Debit cards cost $14. Loading money from your
OKPAY account to your debit card costs $5.
What I miss are the instant free debit card loads that ePassporte offered. It takes a little while for money to arrive to your debit card when you send it. About 1 hour. Usually less.
Also, some of their emails are timed weird. When I ordered my card I immediately got an email that my card was sent which obviously is impossible 2 seconds after I placed the order. One other issue is the letter that came with my card had the wrong activation instructions. I just followed the instructions on the site and everything worked.
Their support is a million times better than ePassporte.
I have had over $30,000 USD go through my account so far. Next we are about to dive into their API.
