I have some issues with the reporting here.
Did Lou Dobbs hire these people and did they work directly for him, meaning he cut them a paycheck, or did they work for a landscaper or other company? My landscaper was just here two minutes ago, and I don't know if they are legal or not. I don't think legally I have the right to check their "papers" or documentation, just in the same way I can't walk into a Wal Mart and ask to their documentation.
If Dobbs hired a landscape company to take care of his properties / horses, then they've got nothing on him.
If Dobbs hired them himself, they worked directly for him, he cut them a paycheck, and HE KNEW they were illegal it's a huge problem for him because of the fact he's a reporter and because of his public stance on the issue. However, hiring someone who appears legal and turning a blind eye to someone you know is illegal is two different matters.
But at the end of the day what does it matter? Even if we can prove he did it and knew they were illegal, what's he gonna get? A small fine?
