The whole compcept of employer provided health care is old fashioned and really doesn't fit in with today's workforce. Sure back in the day where you were expected to work for a company for 40 years then retire, sure. Not now when the average worker can expect to have 10-12 different employers during his working years. Same thing goes for pensions. Before 401ks sure they were a good idea I suppose. The average worker has more options for investment that they did 40, 50 years ago.
