While that could happen in the U.S., it's highly unlikely - it appears that the federal government, along with help from the states, have planned for such a contingency with large detention camps built (search "FEMA camps") and ready to house upwards of a few million people if need be. It's been done before, such as with the Japanese in WWII.

Also, another plus, though not thought of being that by some, for the U.S. is the huge influx of Hispanics - their religious beliefs / customs and their population growth will make it nearly impossible for any Muslims sects seeking to impose their beliefs (ie. requiring women to wear Burkas) on that of others.

And before someone chimes in about Muslims controlling all the oil, much of the U.S. oil supply comes from Canada and Mexico - that surprises many people. Middle-east oil is preferred, because it's cheaper, but it's not the only game in town - there's a heck of lot of oil, as the blowout in the Gulf very much illustrated, under the oceans that's untapped and elsewhere outside of the Middle-east.
