When she comes out from under the sedation and is strong enough to move, if I were you I would take her to another vet. This guy sounds a bit clueless.

i certainly don't want to come across like i am diagnosing a dog via gfy but it seems quite out of the ordinary to jump to saying "maybe brain parasites". that's just not likely and very irresponsible imo.
