Aww i have two pit bulls myself and actually two vets just like you, they have had their records in a clinic with more staff and resources and that is their main vet but i also go to another doctor that has a more flexible schedule in the sense that if something is wrong and need to get them in right away i can do that there .It is good to be able to have two opinions when needed.
It is crazy this breeds tolerance to pain, my female got a really deep cut in her foot last winter that required surgery and 12 stitches but when i was running to friends desperate to ask for help cause she was bleeding alot she was just wagging her tail happy to see them. Silly dogs :P
