I won't go all batshit with the moral outrage because quite frankly there's no sense to it. Every time something like this happens and hits the news the same threads pop up with the same posts. Fact is both sides have valid points. when I was in my mid teens in jr high and high school I too had a few teachers I thought were extremely hot, and would have gladly jumped at the chance to jump them and take my chances.
But in a case like this, as an adult you have to realize that the onus is on the adult, in this case the 37 yr old teacher, to bear the burden of responsibility and BE the mature one at least enough to say no. 15 yr olds are all hormones, period. They're not old enough to be that responsible. Plus the teacher is in a position of authority over them and is looked on as a role model. She as the adult allowed whatever happened to happen. She's the one who will take the fall for it.
Bottom line, the woman is very likely going to jail for this, at the very least I doubt she'll ever be allowed to teach again. Discussion over as far as I'm concerned.
Except to say that if it happened to either a son or daughter of mine, I would want the teacher in question to hang for it. No double standard about it.
