I always took the heartworm meds from the vet and said that I will give them to my dog when we get home. Which I did, but after the first time, never again. But then they argue that it's also a preventative measure. Sure, but if it puts your dog in seizure mode I'd say better to look for another treatment, maybe a natural one like week's is suggesting, than risk going with the advise of a vet who is basically stumped on what's wrong.

yup vets nowadays love to over medicate our pets.... and im well informed so i look up side effects of everything before it reaches my dogs mouth.. if the side effects include seizure, liver problems, death, then fuck that.. i rather take my chances with a natural dewormer or probiotic
