At this point she isn't doing good, has regressed... the vet said she either had a brain disease or hibernating distemper?? or possibly a parasite got to her brain? wtf

anyways she is pretty much a vegetable so far it seems... valium and phenobarbitol (sp?) should wear off in 4-6 hours, so at 4pm it will have been 6+ hours and I guess if she isn't responsive I am going to tell them to put her down... Her little body really went through a lot. She was twitching and twitching in my arms.

this is so terrible... I don't know how to react other than to be sad, not enough energy to be upset or deal with this worm shit.

She was tested for heartworms, it was negative... they didn't give her heartorm meds, I have the pill I was going to give her today.

What they gave her was tapeworm med and hookworm/roundworm med. Droncit and Strongid. I've googled them and all I can find is they say not to give strongid with other dewormers because the worms could get impacted in the intestines and injure them that way, nothing about a seizure. Everything says its a little tiny dose and won't hurt them. I don't trust pharmaceuticals!!!

What can I do? I don't know about proving all this and going after the vet? We've also spent almost $800 on these vet bills last two days. Fucking sucks!
