Hey mchacal, for me the whole thing about the BBs is the keyboard... as it was the first phone to allow emails to be written and read very qickly alot of people are hooked. I had a BB for a long time before my android HTC desire whihc is all touch screen and its not as easy to write long messages as it was on the BB so i use the HTC as more of a reader now than a writter.
BB have just launched the BB "Torch" a cross bread of the keyboard and a touch screen for browsing is worth a look
