The Yankees buy championships. They fail more often than they win due to incompetence. The Yankees can't build a team, they can only buy one.
The Blue Jays roster payroll was $145,000,000 less than the Yankees, yet they finished 11 games back. Me thinks if the Jays had Doc pitching this year, the Yankees would have been hard-pressed to squeak in like they did.
